Learn functional breathing mechanics so that you can get the most out of each breath - turning each inhale into a platform for peace (nervous system regulation), focused energy, clarity, and deeper truth. If you're willing to let go and trust the process, this session will not disappoint. All you have to do is breathe!

Conscious Connected Breathing

An active inhale and passive exhale in a circular, rhythmic pattern - filled with possibility. Using the breath as an anchor, we journey beyond mind, emotions, and body to the essence of who we are, beyond judgment and labels. If you're ready to peek beyond the curtain using your breath as a guide, join us for an experience that requires nothing more than you and your breath.

Meet your facilitator

Michael - Registered with the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance (GPBA)

Michael began practicing yoga in 2013 and completed his Teacher Training at Shrimath Yoga School in Bangalore, India. He owns and operates The Yoga Shack in Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka. He deepened his breathwork practice in 2022 by completing an advanced practitioner course with Breathwork Africa and is registered with the GPBA. With Michael's real-life experience, you'll be guided on a journey back home to who you really are.

Everything you need to know before you join.

Can I do this in a public space?

No - best to practice where you won't be disturbed. Be comfortable and able to let go. Have a mat or something to lie on, a pillow for your head, and a blanket to get cozy.

Can I eat and drink beforehand?

Avoid a big meal for 2 hours before the session. No alcohol or drugs beforehand.

What should I do beforehand?

Go for a walk or light run, declutter the mind and body - maybe some dance or gentle movement. Set yourself up in a relaxed space that feels good for you.

What are the benefits?

Breathing well impacts every system of the body - immune, digestion, cardiovascular, nervous, and even reproductive. By learning proper mechanics, you prime the body to run more efficiently. We'll show you how.

Is this suitable for absolute beginners?

Yes. We start with functional breathing basics and progress gently. You'll have clear options and can move at a pace that feels comfortable.

Are there any health considerations or contraindications?

If you're in the first trimester of pregnancy; have serious cardiovascular or respiratory conditions, epilepsy, or unmanaged mental health conditions - please consult your physician first. Let the facilitator know privately before class so we can adapt appropriately.

Is the practice intense? Will I feel emotional?

Conscious connected breathing can be powerful, yet we guide it gently and safely. It's normal to feel emotions or deep relaxation. You can pause, slow down, or rest at any time.

What if I arrive late?

It's ONLINE and will be recorded - you can do it at a time that is convenient for you.
